Bloodhounds Season 2 : Our Final Thoughts.
If you’re looking to expand your Korean TV drama watchlist then there is no question that Bloodhounds needs to be on it.
Netflix does give you various watch options in terms of dubbing and subtitles. What they have achieved rather well is the English dubbing. We do try whenever we can do watch foreign language content in their original format however, it is nice to be able to fully grasp the action without missing any important parts.

One of the BEST K-Drama’s we’ve watched on Netflix so far
We are extremely partial to a K-Drama, and this one drives that uppercut and manages to draw you right in without you even realising.
Bloodhounds is originally based on a Webtoon of the same name and sees two amateur boxers take on a loan shark.
We’ve lost count of how many times we have watched this now.

Bloodhounds casting is chef’s kiss
One of the standout elements of Bloodhounds is its exceptionally cast ensemble. Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi were perfectly chosen to play the loyal, justice-driven duo who find themselves fighting Korea’s dark underground loan shark industry.
Woo Do-hwan, in particular, returned to the spotlight with this role following his military service, and viewers were immediately reminded of his magnetic presence and martial arts precision.
Lee Sang-yi’s performance in Bloodhounds further solidified his reputation as one of South Korea’s most versatile rising stars. Known previously for his roles in romantic dramas like Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Once Again, Lee made a striking pivot into action with his portrayal of Woo-jin. His natural charisma, comedic timing, and emotional range gave the character a layered charm that resonated deeply with audiences.
Veteran actor Park Sung-woong, cast as the villainous CEO Kim Myung-gil, delivered a chilling and calculating performance that earned critical praise. His ability to embody corruption and menace without overplaying the role made him an unforgettable antagonist.
From rising stars to seasoned actors, the Bloodhounds casting has been widely praised for blending charisma, authenticity, and dramatic power—creating a cast viewers couldn’t help but root for (or against).

A K-Drama that packs a punch!
That’s right, there is no shortage of fighting in this series. In fact, the combat sequences in this show are some of the best we have witnessed. Just raw boxing.
It’s not all about the boxing, though. The actors convey their roles from rookie boxers to expert-level / not to be messed with all-around nice guys, exceedingly well. Their charm, skills and undeniable loyalty to fighting for justice keeps your eyes fixed on the screen to the very end.
If you need any more convincing that you should add this TV show to your Netflix watchlist then take a gander at this behind-the-scenes video:
